Tours
Harvest start date is approximately the 3rd week of September.  Our projected harvest schedule for 2020 is a 3 week period from September 21 (Monday) to October 12 (Monday).

Harvest time consists of flooding, beating, booming, and pumping the cranberries with most of the flooding done at night.

What visitors will see of the active farming on a given tour day will vary but we have consistent components to every tour. As an active farm no guarantee can be given as to what stage of harvest will be ongoing on the date of tour.

We offer 3 types of tours. Each of these must be booked in advance and are by appointment only. Our online booking options will be made available closer to harvest time.

We offer the following tours:

Public Tour:
Dates and availability unknown at this time.

Closer to harvest season, specific time slots will be made available with a max capacity of 45 people (subject to change).

Tours are approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour (there are 2-3 tour slots available per day).

Half the time will be a guided informational portion (with accompanying videos and multimedia) followed by a meet the farmer question period and time for exploring on foot and picture taking.

Photo opportunities in the bog are available for an additional cost subject to the timing of the harvest.

Farm products will be available for purchase at the farm market stand.

School Tour:
Dates and availability unknown at this time.

Our school tours are similar to the public guided tour but more hands on.

There are curriculum connections made with topics such as: plant life cycles, First Nations history with cranberries, and the importance of bees for blossom pollination.

There are interactive displays for the students such as hands on activities with the cranberry vine, and demonstrations of floating fruit.

There will be time for a farm walk and question the farmer portion.

Students get to take home a small amount of fruit with kid-friendly recipes to try at home.

Private Group Tour
Dates and availability unknown at this time.

This tour is similar to the others listed above, except it will be more for corporate or full group bookings.

There is a maximum limit of 50 people per time slot with an additional cost per head for larger groups.

Other Events and Appearances
Dates and availability unknown at this time.

For the past two years THE BOG has hosted a field tour during the annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival, which takes place on the Saturday of the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. We hope to continue this tradition by working together with the festival organizers and Tourism Langley.

We encourage visitors to the Cranberry Festival to hop on the bus and come join us here on the farm for an up-close look at this visually stunning harvest!

In Fort Langley look for our booth selling fresh cranberries by the pound, as well as a tasty variety of Farm to Table products made with our own delicious cranberries. These products are also available for purchase on the farm tour.
